01Business Development

  • Cold outbound across email, LinkedIn, IG@chase.scrolls
  • Warm activation — referrals, past-client re-engagement, network follow-up
  • Discovery calls, qualification, proposal builds, walkthroughs
  • Closes all new client deals
  • Owns BD pipeline end-to-end through Phase 1

02New Client Acquisition

  • Runs the Customer Acquisition Module (10-component system)
  • Owns active pipeline — Rooted Grounds primary, full Wave 1 list
  • Phase 1 target: 3 net new clients by Aug 31

03Client Strategy — Build + Creation

  • Owns strategy build process and creation end-to-end
  • Initial Signature strategy — IVPs, content pillars, ideation, decks, Homebases
  • Carl's Deli precedent owner; future Signature builds inherit
  • Per-client retrofit work on the 7 existing clients beyond Carl's
  • Hands off to Allison for ongoing adjustments and refinements post-build

04Performance Reporting + Analytics

  • Owns the process, methodology, and production of monthly client reports
  • Maintains scoring framework, outlier engine, KPI ranges
  • Generates reports, hands off to AMs to distribute across their accounts
  • Owns analytics infrastructure (Metricool, Meta Graph API)

05Productized Layer

  • A2A Playbook, Blueprint, Strategy Session — product, pricing, sales pages, launch
  • ManyChat funnel build
  • Distribution and conversion across IG, LinkedIn, email

06Web Infrastructure

  • tools.scrollmedia.co, decks.scrollmedia.co, reports.scrollmedia.co
  • GitHub repos (scroll-proposals, scroll-media-tools, scroll-reports)
  • All HTML production builds and deploys

07Personal Brand

Out of Scope

Day-to-day AM management. Delivery oversight on individual accounts. Shoot strategy + execution oversight. Content quality QA. Primary escalation for client/delivery issues. Ongoing strategy adjustments post-build.

  • Primary escalation point for all client and delivery issues
  • Renewal conversation participation (relationship + delivery health)

02Client Strategy — Adjustments + Refinements

  • Owns ongoing strategy tuning across all accounts post-build
  • Adjusts pillars, formats, hooks based on performance signals
  • Operates the Signal Check Protocol (metrics_to_track.md §4)
  • Reviews monthly performance reports for strategic implications
  • Chase builds; Allison evolves

03AM Team Leadership

  • Manages, supports, and develops AM team — Emily, Rachel
  • Onboards Emily ramp to 100% / 5 accounts by Aug 31
  • Riley rolls off Aug 8 — clean handoff documentation
  • Weekly AM check-ins, performance feedback, career development
  • Sets team culture + working standards

04Content + Creative Direction

  • Aids content shoot strategy, direction, and execution oversight
  • Contributes to client content ideation and creative direction
  • Owns agency-level brand and creative direction
  • Final aesthetic eye on Signature deliverables (decks, Homebases, reports)

05Retention

  • Aids in retention through strong relationships and expectation management
  • Renewal calls — relationship lead (Chase on strategy)
  • Active client referral conversations during renewal context

06Networking

  • 2 hrs/week Chamber + local Cincinnati networking
  • Spot-attendance only — Chase leads, Allison opportunistic
  • Relationship deepening on warm targets when capacity allows

BD pipeline ownership. New client acquisition. Initial strategy builds (contributes, doesn't own). Performance report production. Productized layer. Web infrastructure. Personal brand. Finance.
